This company has spent more than 20 years in the field of market research; their proprietary technology enables them to get vital feedback on everything that can be tested on a web site i.e. products, services even experience within the site itself.

Test Spin rewards you with Amazon.com gift certificates and they send me close to 6 paid surveys invitations every week, which is great right? Well no exactly, especially when you hardly ever seem to qualify for them! Nonetheless, if you spend enough time with these guys (I’ve been a member for over 3 years now) you’ll start to notice patterns from the invitations that you usually will not qualify for and also for the ones that you will almost always qualify for.

They claim to offer $30 to join a focus group and that’s the reason I put it in the heading for this review, because I try to state the companies claims upfront and then let you know what my personal experience has been with them but I’ve never received an invitation for a $30 certificate to participate in a focus group and they’ve sent me hundreds of invites. So you be the judge.

They claim to allow members to earn up to $600 a year in but I haven’t gotten anywhere near a number like that although recently I have been able to cash in for about $60 in certificates (remember I’m a serious survey taker and you are not likely to get anywhere near this unless you put some time into it) in rewards and I still have about $16 bucks currently in my account that I’m waiting to cash in since I need a round number in multiples of ten dollars to cash in for Amazon.com cash.

It’s funny because even though it’s just a movie that’s two weeks away from being widely released for everyone to see it does (I must admit) make you feel like a bit of an insider, I don’t know why.

The registration form is extremely easy to fill and take no more than 30 seconds to complete which certainly will increase the number of successful signups. Watching the videos, commercials etc can, at times, be fun (like when I watched some new Adult Swim commercials about a year ago) but sometimes they can lag on a bit and become exasperating. However, most of the time they’re fairly easy and the rewards are decent enough I guess. Some of the gifts include certificates to Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Target, Petco.com and Barnes & Noble and “AmeriCares” which is a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization that is currently concentrating efforts on sending aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina.
